Free Breakfast Club

Dr Walker’s CE (VC) Primary School is an early adopter school, participating in the government’s free breakfast club program. This program provides a free, nutritious breakfast for all children who attend our school that follow the School Food Standards, before the school day begins at 8:30am. 

The Free 30-minute breakfast club will help ensure pupils start every day ready to learn, and in turn will improve behaviour, attendance and attainment. 

For parents, free breakfast clubs mean help with childcare at the start of the school day – at no extra costs. It means that those parents can drop their children off half an hour earlier – helping them get into work, giving them up to 95 additional hours back to juggle busy mornings, and saving working families up to £450 a year.

The Breakfast club runs daily from 8:00am – 8:30am.
